Harps has become one the grocery industry’s most recognized independent chains and is a national success story. Harps was founded by Harvard and Floy Harp in Springdale, Arkansas in 1930 originally as Harps IGA. Since then, the company has grown to employ over 5,000 associates, making Harps the largest Employee Owned company in the state of Arkansas.
